Nathalie Noël

I graduated of the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Liège in scenography in 2018, and, since then, work as a freelance scenographer and costume designer in Belgium, Germany, and across Europe.

I am particularly drawn to productions that are rooted in the present day, in society as it is and, above all, as it may become. I like to create spaces that leave room for voids, for texts and ideas to unfold and open up new possibilities.

Very concerned by current social, ecological and climatic issues, I'm particularly interested in questioning sustainability in the world of live performance and am constantly looking to develop my practice towards a more flexible, more creative and more sustainable scenography.
